How to Claim your Prize

Claiming a lottery prize can look a little different depending on the amount you’ve won and how you purchased your ticket. To make things simple, we’ve created a quick questionnaire that will tell you exactly which forms you need and how to submit your claim — whether that’s at a retailer, by mail, or by booking an appointment at a Prize Payout office.

Ways to Claim

Option 1: At a Prize Payout Office

An appointment is required to claim at a Prize Payout Office. Our Prize Payout Offices are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Cheque processing may take 15–20 minutes (lottery retailer employee claims not included).

Winning tickets $2,000 and under can now be claimed at a Super Retailer! Visit one of the Sask Lotteries Kiosks below to claim your prize.

Note: SK photo ID is required to claim prizes over $1,000. MB or AB residents must claim prizes over $1,000 at a Prize Payout Office.

Option 2: By Mail

Mail your forms, original ticket, and photocopy of your government-issued ID to:

Things to remember if you’re claiming a prize by mail:

Call Player Care at 1-800-665-3313 during normal business hours before sending in any claim worth more than $1,000. Prizes over $1,000 require additional paperwork, which we can provide to you when needed. You can send claims under $1,000 directly, without contacting Player Care in advance.

All risks of sending tickets through the mail remain with the player. You can take a scan or photocopy for your records, but the original ticket is required for claim.

What to bring or include

Whether you’re coming in person or mailing your claim, make sure you have:

Completed Forms

Government-issued ID

  • In person at a Prize Payout Office:
    • 1 piece of government-issued photo ID
  • By mail:
    • A front and back copy of 1 piece of government-issued ID

Mobile App Barcode

Present the barcode from the My Tickets section of the Lotto Spot! App on your phone.

Important:
  • Paper copies are not accepted.
  • Protect your barcode — whoever presents it is considered the rightful claimant.
  • WCLC will only pay a prize once per barcode.
